Lucky shot medal

Is this even possible. I was shooting at a cruiser which died from my salvo. Down in chat it said that he/she died from detonation and got the medal for it. I didn't get my lucky shot medal. Still a bit new to the game. Only started playing since I think this pass February.

His detonation would show up in chat. Also you only get lucky shot once, so if you already detonated an enemy it would not show up again.

The luck shot is only awarded once. Did you check your achievements to make sure you don't have it? Anyways, I wouldn't worry you will have plenty of detonations in the future.  Edit : You already have Lucky Shot.
