Turret Rotation Arcs

I was messing around with my Mogami one day and thought the turret rotation on some of the guns weren't as far as they could go as far as rotation was concerned. It was still a few degrees from getting close to the superstructure or any object on the deck. So I thought I'd do a comparison with a few other cruisers and tiers just to see if there is a difference. Unfortunately, I don't have the Cleveland, Pensacola or the Chapayev to add to the comparison. I was just looking at tier 6 and 7 since I have most of these. Anyone care to compare the rest?

The Budyonny, Nurnberg and Aoba turrets all rotate as far as they can go as far as I can tell. Aoba's furthest forward gun might get a bit further but it looks relatively the same as the other two as far as how close the barrels are to the superstructure. I like all three ships and do well with them.

The Shchors furthest forward and aft turrets get even closer but the aft turret on the pedestal might get a bit more rotation out of it before it gets to be as close as the other turrets. On the York the rear pedestal turret looks like it still has room to move while the other three look as far as they can go. The Myoko's rear pedestal turret looks like it shoots through the aircraft railing so a bit too far but the furthest aft turret can turn further by the looks of it. Of Myoko's front turrets, the inside one can definitely rotate further forward, it has room. And the forward gun can definitely rotate further back, it too has plenty of room to rotate. Shchors is definitely my favorite here.

I haven't looked at the New Orleans or Admiral Hipper yet, both of which I do have, in comparison to the Mogami. I already know some of Mogami's turrets have room to rotate further. Myoko is getting shafted here as far as turret rotation is concerned. Poor girl can't bring her guns to bare without showing more of her broadside than her counterparts. Not that it matters what angle she's at. The Shchors has the best forward/rearward angles as far as I can tell. She can keep a decent angle and still have three turrets available for fighting.

I tried looking into getting the training room working but I read it needs fixing since the patch? Am I wrong? So I couldn't use that to do better checks than I have been. It's all been in game. Not that this all matters or anything it's just something I noticed and thought I'd point out.

You do not want the barrels or muzzles of your main guns too close to the superstructure or it will damage your own ship

In real life yes but there's no reason to stop them from turning if they are not obstructed by something else.

I looked at the Atago, Admiral Hipper and New Orleans tonight. New Orleans turrets look pretty good both fore and aft but might get a few degrees out of the aft turret. Same with Admiral Hipper, guns turn as far as they can go except the furthest fore and aft turrets. They look like they could get a few degrees as well. Atago is similar to Myoko with the exception that the rear turret on the pedestal stops just by the mast behind it. But I did notice that the pedestal turret at the front does not turn 360 degrees even though there is nothing stopping it from doing so. I do believe the Myoko is the same which further screws over these type of ships. Slow as hell turning and limited in its radius. Too bad I don't have a Chapayev, I bet her turret traverse isn't limited in any way and travels as far as it could possibly go just like her lower tier sisters.
