my launcher is just sitting on trying to start the torrent. been that way for 200 seconds

Tried turning off AV protection, or making sure the launcher is excluded in the firewall?

Make sure launcher is allow permission in the firewall and restart your computer.

Make sure the game is set to "RUN AS ADMINASTRATER"
