Gjob with the T9 economy.  Cannot make any coin win or lose no matter how much damage I do. T9 I am playing is Fletcher.  Losing coin also on my t8 Bismark.  This economy wasn't even

on the test server so I guess we get to lose our [edited]testing  your screw up?

Responses like this are why this game will never have a good population.

Fact is, this change is more likely to drive players away than change their play style.

Everyone complains about the huge number of potatoes in the game, but without those spuds, do you really think the game is going to do well financially? Or have a decent queue? :amazed:

So stating that I play a DD that has to attack and  not sit back and is losing coin every game makes me a spud?  It doesn't matter if I do 100k damage or 0 damage I am losing from 10-50k every game win or lose.  This makes it impossible to play T9s.  I am also on premuim and should never be losing coin at that rate.  You need to be able to make coin to get your t10 playing your t9.

French Fries and Baked stuffed potatoes are made out of spuds.

I think the issue is people not understanding the new dynamic.

Why wouldn't people change their play style?

I've never seen anyone say they play passively because they want to, it's always because the game forces them to. Well, now the game is forcing them NOT to play passively. And wouldn't YOLO rushing, then dying and playing another game, be more fun than sailing around avoiding everything, landing the odd shot here and there, for 10-15 minutes?

I think once people figure that out, things will be ok.

Show us some screenies, maybe we can figure out something you're missing.

And no, you don't need to be able to make coin to get your T10 playing your T9. Just XP. You can make coin playing anything.

This game already throws oodles of credits at you, as long as you're not playing T9-10. I know players with 5-6 T10s and still have over 100 million credits.

Besides, mid tier is always a good place to go when you just want to play more causally (while making oodles of credits!)

Considering 70% of the players refuse to read the forums, I'm not sure how you're expecting them to adapt...when they will never understand the changes...:teethhappy:

Case in point, chat was actually working last night, responded to a question about missing ARP ship, and asked the person why he didn't just search.

His answer?

"I am a busy person, I just jump on and play a few games, I work hard and I have a family, I don't have time to look stuff up...."

He had been asking for over 15 minutes before I responded......:amazed:

Whether players want to recognize it or not, that is average player in this game.Expecting this to go over with that type of player.....not gonna happen...:teethhappy:

I haven't tried DDs yet, but I'm making a lot more with my North Carolina than I used to. I can run all premium everything on that ship (without a premium account) and make 100K-150K on typical matches. I'm even coming out ahead on losses.

I don't generally do much damage (I've done as little as 40k on a losing match and haven't lost money yet today)  but in most matches I'm tanking about a million potential damage (sometimes more). I'm often getting spotting damage too, generally around 10K, but often 60k or more (North Carolina, specced for stealth -- I would not expect most BBs to get that).

Basically I think I'm doing well because I mostly fight at 10-14 km, and I tank a lot of damage.

On that same ship, playing the same way, I used to break even on good games if I used premium consumables, lose money if I died, and often lose money on wins with the premium consumables.

Oh, no, it's not screwed up.

It's a change that pushes people to require premium more often. Sucks for you, good for WG, just like everything else they do.

how about you play the game because its fun and not because of electronic pixel numbers?

Those electronic pixel numbers stop you from playing the game you want.

1. It was on the test server.

2. You aren't doing enough.  Plain and simple.  I could make money in my Yamato even during the era of 350k-if-sunk repair costs if I did 200k damage, below that I lost money.

When you enjoy playing the high-tier ships you own, paying close attention to your pixel numbers is necessary.

How many of those players play those tier tens casually and consistently w/o having to own premiums or lower tier vessels?

And why, precisely, can T10 not be a place to play casually?

What If someone wanted to play casually at T10? Screw them, right? Only special snowflakes with the time to grind credits get to play with the cool stuff, amirite?

This idea that "mid tiers is your job, high tiers is your hobby, your job pays for your hobby" is pure bullcrap. This entire game is your hobby.

You want me to grind to access some content - fine.

But to insist that I need to grind more just so I can enjoy the content I just spent hundreds of hours working to unlock? Piss off.

Here's the problem with this retarded idea: There is literally not enough HP in the game for eveyone to do that.

The second I need to do more than than kill one enemy ship, doing all the damage myself, there is literally no way for everyone to break even.

In practice, it'll be impossible for people to stop breaking even far sooner than that, because you have people performing far above that level.

There really isn't anymore "adapting" I can do.  Playing the american DD  I already am on the front lines shooting, torping and spotting.  I do not sit in the rear with the gear doing the long range sniping.  Something is wrong with

the way it is awarding creds.  Its 120k to repair and resupply whether I take damage or not.  I am fine with this amount it is the reward for doing the spotting, damage, flag capping that isn't being rewarded something is wrong.

I do not play my bb much but when I do I tank with it, not a big deal there the credits were ok but NOBODY on premium should be losing coin at t9 having done damage in the game.

Because money. We are not all 17 year olds that believe everything comes without cost. Those fancy graphics come with the tears of real live people that need to get paid for their services.

This game does not require you to help WG pay these people with the full acknowledgment that you give up the ability to casually play high tiers. This is their business model. If you do not like it, BF1 is coming out soon.

Actually, I kind of quietly agree that tier 10 should be a place for the "good"  players, not  "casuals".we are ideally talking about the place where to level 0lay should be in the absence of clan wars

this is [edited],  you know how much grinding you have to do to get to T10 by free play grinding?   you ought to know the economy by the time you get to t10.   nothing casual to get to t10 unless you drop real dough, and if you drop real dough,  then you don't mind spending.     It is like drug user complaining about the cost of drugs.   lol

Yes, because money, but not because "people need to be paid so they can eat".

No, it's because investors and management want to have more money than they could ever need, and idiots like you will defend that despite being screwed by those same practices.
