Guys WG hate DDs and are just nerfing them into uselessness so that all us stupid BB drivers can do whatever we want.

 That explains why DDs remain extremely popular, versatile, and powerful am I right?

I kind of think they need to set a range for all ships and just tell people to deal with it. You know, something like 0-1 CVs, 2-3 BBs, 3-4 DDs, the rest cruisers.

 

Would you prefer a less than instant, but still pretty short queue time, or completely BUFU matchmaking? Yeah I'll take the queue time for 1000, and it's the daily double, so I'm going to make it a true Daily Double and risk everything.

I see this all the time at Tier 10 now.  Almost all of my Yamato games were like this even.  Its why I don't play her that often, although.. the normal for me is 5-6 DDs per side.

They really need to put a cap on the number of destroyers in a match

 

most fleet strike arms consisted of a pair of carriers, a couple of fast battleships, 4 or so cruisers split between CA and CL, and 10 or so DD's, so this isn't unreasonable.

Except that real-life DDs weren't ninjas launching daylight stealth torpedo attacks or firing unobserved from behind Goku's flying cloud.

This, actually.

 

To make DD number limit work WG would either have to get rid of 5 minute MM limit, or dump a whole lot of DDs into a game every so often to clear the queue.

WG needs to put in caps for how many of one class of ship in games. I absolutely hate having games where there are 4-5 destroyers or BBs. Put BB and DD at 3 max per game and it would help bring cruisers back.

Maybe just direct the wastewater into a single pool - 12 v 12 destroyer matches.

 

Which, actually, wouldn't be that bad. Even historically, it has a lot of merit.

4 destroyers per team is the perfect number. Same for BBs.
