Who would like to see the Missouri as a premium? I have been asking in my games so far it has be at least 80% yes.

Please give your reason you would like  to see it as a premium

As much as it would be interesting to see another historical ship in the game, just the thought of players buying themselves into tier IX games makes me shudder.

It'd be heavily nerfed to fit in the Tier 8 bracket, especially to make the Alabama competitive.

However, they could offer it as a reward for clan wars or ranked. Allowing them to stay within the premium rules and let it be in the game.

If we're gonna do a T9 Iowa premium/reward ship I'd rather see the New Jersey. She's a much more decorated and BA ship. The Mighty MO is cool and all, but everyone besides Truman would have preferred the surrender to occur on the NJ.

It's tier 9... If WG want It will make it's way to premium but it won't be sold. Instead it will be mostly likely a reward ship as WoT does that to Clan Wars.

Maybe if the "Premium Ship" was restricted to players whom already own tier 9 ships, then maybe.  But I imagine new comers coming into tier 9 will torpedo their team's chances at success.

As a born and breed son of Missouri I would love to have the US Missouri in my port. 

I think restricting the ship to being a reward for in game competitions is the way to go.

I'm a "no".  I'm tired of the constant requests for this ship or that ship when the class is already in the game.  IMO, the devs need to focus more on adding ships that are NOT yet in the game, not cloning ones that already are in game (not to mention tier 9, and out of premium range).

Tier 8 is the highest that WG goes with purchasable premium ships or tanks.

why not just make it a permanent  camo (it can also change the name of the ship so that it is called the Missouri and not the Iowa) that way WG doesn't have the same situation with the Prinz Eugen (it could have literally been a permanent camo imo and still retained it exact same traits) that way you don't have wallet warriors buying their way to the us tier 9 BB without earning the base ship first 

It also has the benefit of not requiring rebalancing (so ships like the Alabama can fill her spot at T8)

Doesn't mean it doesn't suck to have a bunch of wallet warrior noobs that don't know how to play the game buy their way to T9, just because they pay WG doesn't mean we should give them a freebie for being pay to play

The problem right now is that Missouri literally fixes Iowa's one problem: her weak frontal bulkhead (which, when combined with the flat, unarmored hull in front of it, leaves a flaw in her angling profile).  So either heavy nerfing is needed to make her a T8, or WG decides T9 premiums/reward ships are okay.

Probably the best idea, and I've seen this thrown around a few times elsewhere as well. As a proud Texan, I'm glad they added the Texas as a different ship, however if there are very little differences between ships of the same class, I think it'd be better to just add a special camo to hopefully add diversity between tech trees and premium ships. Giving them as "reward ships" would also be interesting, but that means I'd probably never get my hands on it. But I guess if WG wants to instead try and sell a copy of a ship with few or any changes, and someone else wants to buy that ship, I'm in no position to say either party can or cannot do that.

I would love to see her in the game in one form or another. She would have to have something to set her apart from her sister ship and class lead Iowa. She is after all the last battleships to be officially retired and was the site of the historic surrender of Japan. The USS Iowa and USS Wisconsin were the last two ships on the roll and we're deactivated and reactivated on and off throughout the years with the last time being in 1991. However in 2005 the Navy deactivated them for the final time. Until that point they had been held in reserve for quick return to service if the need arose. But I being a history lover on top of a warship nut from the age of sail onward would love to see her.

As others have said, WG does not go above Tier 8 for purchasable premiums. The only time you'd have a chance of seeing it would be if they were to offer it as a reward ship for Clan Battles down the line once they implement Clan Battles.

What's funny is that the name was excluded from the list of Ohio-class submarines too, even though we saw the revival of obscure state names like Michigan.  But Montana will be the name of a Virginia-class, so I guess the USN hasn't completely forgotten.

Despite all these comments about T9 and T10 Premiums being a no-go, with WG's new personalized offers, they can get around it by only making it available to players who've already unlocked the line ship and used said ship so many numbers of times and with a certain number of kills.  Basically, allowing sufficiently experienced players to buy a Premium of a T9 or T10 they love.

Having had the priveledge of standing on the fantail of the Missouri at sundown as the flag came down that day after a sobering reflection on Americas sacrifices in WW2 at the Arizona memorial... The New Jersey Iowa and Wisconsin are all stunning symbols of Naval power but the Mo has that and more.
