This thread is basically a spin off of the Music for German Battleship Drivers thread. Since I'm more of an IJN BB driver, I thought I'd start a music thread for IJN BB's.

And well, japanese ships ask for j-rock I guess. I like Jam Project (Massaki Endoh and Fukuyama solo works are good as well), Kishida Kyoudan & the Akeboshi Rockets (my favorite album is Hack/Slash) and Spyair, to name a few.

I don't really have specific video to link to, but two of my favorites are by Two Steps From Hell, specifically Victory and Flight of the Silverbird. I favor Victory for the earlier British designed/inspired ships, and Flight of the Silverbird from Nagato onwards. I do tend to think of Space Battleship Yamato/Starblazers for Yamato though, because why the heck not? Another good one that I can think of is the original Japanese theme from Space Pirate Captain Harlock (for obvious reasons). That and I do love the lyrics, based on a few of the translations I've seen.

hmm music for IJN. plays. well i think all of the ost on [edited]: Midway and Pacific. the main them from the newest Capt. Harlock movie. some ost from the Space BB yamato series. (the new one) . some ost from Crono Trigger. game ost. battles. . oh and (one of the best) the battle drums from Battlestar Glatica series. movie mini Ser. especial etc. or you can put some tecno music from Shiki. albuns :v  like Cristierra albums 1 and 2 (so good music.) the ost from Arpeggio anime. are good to . well i play my list of ost from all anime series  a mix and play LOL . or another game or just for read some light novels.  anyway. here some song

You are the last ship on your team. all are dead. and you have suround be BB Cas and DDs are chase you and firering torps. mean the enemy Cv. whit his DB are aimg you. but you stay calm and shoot fire on all direction all second are shooting your AA get the skye on fires, you move to right and left to avoid the torps.and you just close your eyes. the time stop , all end. and a second laters. open the eyes and say. : hmm (smile) was a good battle.

Oh, yeah. I almost forgot about the theme from the latest Captain Harlock movie. To be honest though, I tend to think of that one as fitting my IJN cruiser playstyle rather than the IJN BBs. Mostly because of the pace of the action and the speed and maneuverability of the ships. I have found myself humming it during some really good Atago and Mogami matches.
