i think its working as it was intended to work. the team-killing system (Pink status) is what is intended to stop team-killing not the karma system. That's more a reflection of how others think of a certain individual. i honestly think the biggest problem with the system is the name 'karma'. this being that its generally associated with something happening after it is applied. rather i think another word, but the closest i can think of is 'relationship status' so that wouldn't work either because of its other connotations so they are stuck with its name for now.

 

Edit: also if it worked as i think you believe it should (correct me if i am wrong) system that banns people because a group wants them banned rather then a moderator finding a reason to do so is a horrible idea as trolls would just gang up and abuse the system.
