Commander XP: Tirpitz vs. Prinz Eugen?

I have a hypothesis, and I'd like your thoughts folks to help me analyze this, if you have the time. I think Tirpitz Commander XP generation might be close to Prinz Eugen, on average, despite Prinz Eugen's +50% bonus. Here's average XP on the server:

Tirpitz: 1340

Admiral Hipper: 1160

Prinz Eugen: 1300

Given that an appreciable share of Tirpitz players are, in fact, Derpitz skill level, I posit that the average Tirpitz XP is weighed down artificially, vis-a-vis Hipper. You cannot buy your way to the Hipper. In getting there, you learn something about how to play the game. You are a decent player. And your average XP is 1160 despite your best efforts. Remove the Derpitz players from the game, and I would guess that Tirpitz's adjusted average XP might be around 1400, probably higher.

Let's assume for the sake of argument that Prinz Eugen's average XP stays the same from here on out, that puts its average Commander XP at 2600, and Tirpitz's at 2100. However, PE owners are often playing with their fully-skilled existing battleship/cruiser captains. I have a hunch that an above average player can generate approximately the same amount of Commander XP on Tirpitz and Prinz Eugen, and that those who choose to play Prinz Eugen from time to time, are doing so because they enjoy the cruiser role and accept the inherent fragility of a cruiser.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? It's a question I've been pondering and I'm open to be being surprised!

Thank you for your time.

I'm not asking about my performance, but rather a generalization of what the typical slightly above average player is likely to experience. I'm sure there are plenty out there who understand the thrust of my question. Nevertheless, I do appreciate your contribution, kmsh44.

Remove the people who just bought the eugen and have no clue what their doing and you'd get an uptick in experience as well, and you have to consider the eugen has effectively double captain experience while the tirpz only has 1.5 due to premium benefits.

If two players make the same base XP, the PE wins.

If the tirp player makes more XP at some point the tirp player will have the same gain.

So what you're really asking is "if the Tirpitz player is better than the PE player is the Tirp a better trainer?" Because the answer is: A karlsrule can make more commander xp than the PE if the player is sufficiently much better.

So is your personal average XP in the tirp that 34% higher to warrant it training faster?

Are cruisers not at a disadvantage in high tier play vs. battleships, at the moment? I could very well be mistaken but that's what I heard. But if it's true, then I would think it would take more skill to excel in a cruiser, vs. a battleship, and by extension, battleships should have an easier time farming XP, mopping up cruisers like a whale eating krill.
