Anyway when I went back to port I was surprised to see a special offer for ME I mean yippie. The offer was for the Indianapolis at a 20% rate. Now before I continue let me also say that a match after the next , I was presented with another offer, this time for a Lo Yang. To keep it short I didn't take either ship as I was just shy of the required doubloons. I don't regret my decision they are both great ships but just wasn't really interested. My question is how often does this happen to you guys? And if it happens pretty frequently could they offer the scharnhorst? I missed it when it was on sale seeing as I wasn't playing at the time; had taken a break from gaming in general. So what do you think? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Maybe a dev could ring in on the chances for the specials to show up or the freq. of them or do you need to complete something for them to show up. It's an attractive ship for those who don't have a Benson, but I don't think it's a "must buy". The only "special offer" I've ever seen was for port slots and I think it was in the Premium Shop that day anyway. I'm surprised that Arizona showed up again so soon and think these really short offers aren't fair to players who might, say, have a job, family, something. Scharnhorst may not show up any time soon. I wasn't able to buy when on sale. I haven't gotten those offers yet, and have a decent amount of the premiums. I was lucky enough to grab the Lo Yang and Indy when they were on sale, they do not disappoint. I'm not much into the Battleships, but I do enjoy cruisers and having a better citadel might help If they put the Scharn back on sale or a special offer...I'd be very tempted. For a while I didn't think it actually existed and was just mythical- I would be torped and sunk without seeing anything around me.
