Why does WG want us how to play

We are the WG customers. WG should just let what its customers like to play. Users of NA server like to camp, That is the NA users' play style. What the heck WG wants to change how we are playing.

For me, it is in game economy defined the game play, For high tier camp, it is repair bill too high to brawl. I charge a lot in low tier games.

just because a few have decided that sitting more or less still bow on is a a way to play does not mean that it is what the majority wants...the dead-weight minority drags the rest down and WG should address it. 

 

players who are that worried about repairs/earning credits have other means of earning them if they cant at high tiers. get prem time or ships, play mid tiers, or git gud as they say.

I love how people say brawling doesn't pay, I brawl in all my BB's and it does wonders.  Jap, US, German, all good to do so.  I help my team, win, do great.  Move around, adjust, attack from different angles, pin enemy fleets between a rock and a hard place.  Kill em, why sit when I can play the game, and win.  Those who camp lose ALOT.

Because WG is appealing to their larger customer base who wants an enjoyable gaming experience, not just those who like to camp.

Well, for ME, it was game economy which made me choose to play high tier DD's and sink many whining sons of female dogs battleship drivers.

 

 

But then whining sons of female dogs battleship drivers got my ship nerfed to oblivion.

 

 

Now they are (FINALLY) nerfing ONE LITTLE THING on the precious battleships

and every whining son of a female dog who owns one is yowling like there is a full moon out,

singing "HELP ME SAVE MY HORRIBLY UP BATTLESHIP!"

 

 

yeah, hold your breath and wait for THAT to happen

Reducing your ability to deflect damage will NOT increase aggressive gameplay.  In fact this will just make it worse.

 

This nerf is simply to make BB sink faster, ending game sooner.  


This nerf is to remove skill from game further to make it easier for the brain dead to point and click and be successful.  Dumb the game down further.  WoT did this by allowing premium shells for credits. Everyone pens 90% of their shots, make people feel good about their skills, end games quicker.

 

Lets just make every ship in the game the same armor, same pen value, same alpha.  Big floating targets to shoot and easy pen. Quick games. Skill less games, dumb game. RNG only factor.

Ah camping. Sitting in your lawn chair with a beer. Listening to the birds, watching the boats out on the lake putter around. Checking out the babes, eating a hot dog, etc...... Getting bored, gotta grab my gun and go shoot something. Feel better now.

Why would you want the game to further devolve into more campfests. Detonations are more fun and engaging than camping imo. Yes i realize the inplications i have just made.

It;s not just some minor nerf though.

 

It's a major nerf to the ability for high tier BBs to mitigate damage.

 

Imagine half the shots that land on your DD suddenly do 33% pen damage instead of mostly overpenning. That kind of nerf.

Good idea!  Let's increase the detonation chance five fold while we are at it.  Games will end sooner, customers even happier.

I sail my battleship much less now and after this nerf, there will be more DD and CA. With radar and hydro, it is not easy for DD. I am afraid of getting too close when playing high tier DD.

but I love brawling BBs when playing DD.

Its funny, maybe if BB's moved, kept on angling and made it harder to hit due to moving (which is possible), this will do little to affect it.  But if you sit there nose in doing nothing but firing, don't be surprised you get put on fire (OMG FIRE!), and get hurt more.

i am sometimes the 1st BB to die and 95% of the time i have the highest score of BBs    top 5 every game. so stop being so scared to play and you may do better. 55%  overall wins so im not the greatest  but still above avg.

 many times i see low  win % players hiding and they always die quick at the end with low scores.

 you have heals for a reason i try to use all my heals every  game.

I already burn to the ground from Khabs, Zao's, Gearings and every other HE spamming scumbag ship in this game moving or not.  HE does not care about armor so yeah, this will not change... in fact the only way I will not burn or get lolpenned every salvo is by hiding in the back more in my BB.

You act like fire is a big deal.  Its not.  It hurts a bit, but its not a game breaker.  Maybe if you worked with your team and didn't sit in the back waiting for your team to die till a bunch of ships lit you up on fire, you'd see its not an issue.

Oh my God, did I really read that as being the excuse for camping? You find sitting at range "fun and engaging"  gameplay? 

 

WG also knows about the high tier economy issues. I think all the bleating that is done about it echoes in the back of the minds of the staff, but if they haven't made it clear yet, they are happy with the high tier economy.

 

Whether this is to inflate mid tier numbers while the game tries to build up population  and ferment its existing players- remains to be seen

 

It's kind of expected that as you go high tier, player skill should increase, but there is no skill in keeping out of risky engagements. I'm sorry but for someone as incompetent as me to make that call (who is also tired of leading the charge only to have everyone else who wanted to go with me run at the sight of a battleship), this game's community has a serious issue

You say that like people don't set you on fire, wait for you to throw DCP and then wait till that cool down starts again to set more fires/floodplain is not a problem. I know I do that and a good amount of time it pays very handsomely. In fact, I have even built my tier 9 Friedrich Der Grosse around this principle with 10.6Km flamethrowers.it is not uncommon for me to get 12+fires without firing a single HE shell from my main batteries
