By best tactic with the Pensacola is either find a rock to hid behind or make the crew sea sick with hard rudder shifts.

Pepsi cola is an odd beast to tame, a true glass cannon, I found her most effective when at range (giving you the most time to dodge incoming shells) she certainly will be spotted once in gun range so don't even bother trying to stealth up, just keep that rudder active and keep your distance. Pepsi cola really does require a lot of concentration to do well in, but after you get those down she can actually be fairly good, it's all a matter of being cautious and not derping around

I danced like a mad man in my Pensacola.

 

BBs wasted so many shots on me.  That ship taught me how to dodge.  I seriously would draw fire for my team.  Of course MM hating my guts gave me all the potatoes by and large my team refused to capitalize leaving me with a low win rate.  I did some decent damage in her though.

 

If I was hunting CA I would creep like an Atlanta, behind cover ready to pop out and cit [edited]a CA.  Got a few DS badges that way.  6+ cit salvos hurt.  If I was hunting BBs I would kite and HE spam them.  DE with that many guns that have good accuracy leads to a decent number of fires.  This also helped get the BBs to focus on shooting at me, where it could take most of the match to seriously damage me.
