"Another ARP" Question?

Hey, unlike some other folks I read these forums almost every day  cause.......well ......on the WOWS launcher there is this link! and I am a curious sort of fellow, who is always looking for fresh content or information I didn't have before. This allows me to take advantage of things like "bonus codes" that people post, or links to fun and informational vids. But more importantly, the little tidbits of game related information that can be gleaned from reading the forums. KNOWLEDGE IS KING! I've been reading since I joined in Closed Beta

Anyway, I am curious, given the shear amount of "I can't find my ARP ship!" posts, what are some of the things people have actually done to try to find their "missing" ship.

After the grueling grind that was the first round of ARP I would have been guilty of some pretty extreme measures to find the ship that I worked so hard for. Fortunately, the first place I went to look for it, was the forum, so I saved myself tons of hassle.

 

 

I'm thinking things like:

-Swapping vid cards.

-Re- installing.

What are some of the extreme or silly things that folks (you know who you are!)  have done to find the missing ARP ship!

Switching to the Yokosuka port. I don't know what made me think of it, since it didn't say to anywhere at all, but it worked!

Even though the posts annoy me I have to say that I prefer them to ask rather than starting topics about "where is my ship you tricked the community you evil Devs". If someone has a question, he should be allowed to ask it and should get a polite answer and not posts like

The search function, why oh why is it not used?

 

I wish there still was the "player question and answers" category because that's where such posts would belong.

 

And a side note to start a topic on this question after one appeared after half a month of silence is somewhat ridicolous.

I knew the ARP ships were in the Yokosuka port but when I have a question the first thing I do is hit Google as the forum search is finicky at best. WG has done a poor job getting the work out to the players where they will find their shiny new anime toy, only a small percentage come to game forums on a regular basis and even fewer go to the portals other than to initially download the game.

I have a feeling that most of the "where is my ship" questions both here on the forum and in game are from players that found the missions from within the game.

Sorry to upset you,  I started this topic for fun and what actually prompted it was all the single posts aboot  "where are my flags?"  (yes I'm Canadian)

i did...absolutely....Nothing! continued to play the same as always.  then Boom...event over...logged into see several premium ships that i have not purchased.  

 

i thought Kewl...i got a premium ship for free...no complaints...use em until they take it away from you...was my thought. lol
