Will Yamashiro come to WOWS?

Just as the title says and I've been wondering for a long time if she'll become available in WOWS. I'm mostly certain that this title has been said/answered long ago and I've read a few info about her but no luck if she'll come or not.

 

So do any of you players out think she'll come by later in the future or not at all?  She really is unique bcuz mainly her 3rd gun is bent backwards (kinda reminds me of a/n Ark Beta) rather than forward and she has some AA's mix around on her hull compare to Fuso's.

it's Fuso-class battleship and I checked few photos, don't really see any difference in them

I really hope so.  They have a base model already to use(stock Fuso is actually Yamashiro as she was first built) and there are enough differences in hull/weaponry to warrant her inclusion, with both New York and Tirpitz as existing precedents.  The most noticeable difference being the placement of the third turret and the different mast design.

Yea like I said, they are the same (For the MOST part), but have a different things on them here and there but mostly yea, there the same pretty much but was wondering if WG will add her bcuz if they do, well then...........TAKE MY $ WG!!! 

 

 

 

I also notice her superstructure is quite thicker and wider unlike Fuso, her's is taller and angle/bent abit in area's as u can see in this pic, top is Fuso and bottom is Yamashiro.

 

 

 

 

There was another Fuso pic (which I was googling the Fuso class BB the other day) with her superstructure all bent and what it is in WOWS design but sadly though, I can't find the image and link from where it was from exactly.

The biggest difference in terms of gameplay between the two sisters is the #3 turret. If you look at your pic, Yamashiro's is still facing backwards, whereas on Fuso it was turned to face forward during her modernization. This means Yamashiro would only have two turrets able to track forward if you wiggle side to side towards a target, but 4 if you do the same while kiting.

Yamashiro has a rival for the premium tier 6 slot: the Ise class in pure battleship form.

 

The ship offers a subtle but more profound difference over the Fuso and even the Yamashiro.

 

 

 

Instead of just having the superstructure more squad and the third turret turned backward, the ship also moved the funnel between Turret 3 and 4 forward ahead of Turret 3, so its right behind the superstructure.  

 

That leaves Turret 3 and 4 next to each other and allows them to be super imposed.   This gives Turrets 3 and 4 a clearer arc to the rear.

 

The secondaries are moved closer and clustered towards the front where they are more effective.

 

The effect is similar to another ship in the game --- the Wyoming.

BB Ise is more likely for a second IJN BB line that branches off from Fuso, and leads into BBCV Ise, which then branches into CVs.

 

Yamashiro is serviceable as a T6 Premium, alongside Mutsu.  Yamashiro's thing is she can kite better while retreating, though WG will need to give her something extra to help sell her.  Either just bonus +50% Commander XP on her Camouflage, or a higher concealment on her camouflage (say +6% instead of +3%), or something more tangible such as better secondary range (to make up for the fact her guns are more aft now).  Maybe slightly different armor values as well if there was any notable differences between the two sisters.

I would love a Yamashiro . I would show it as much love as my Fuso!
