What Would be my Best Option? Sell Iowa?

Hey all,

 

So I need some advice. I currently have 3 tier 10 ships in port, with 3 million silver leftover. However, I still need to rebuy 2 other ships that I sold a few months ago (silly me). So, I need 40 million credits and if I sell Iowa and her upgrades, i'd bank 16,137,500 silver. I know people are saying these Dragon Flag will be worth alot more than a ship (Premiums included).

 

Thoughts?

If the flags are that important to you, spend the $$$ for bundles that give you credits.

150 flags + however many you get for having 2500+ battles seems enough, I wouldn't sell a ship I enjoy just to get another T10 for 50 more flags if I'm already getting 250 or more of them. I guess it's all down to, how often do you play the ship you'd be selling in favor of those 50 extra flags.

Depends if he plans to play the ship. If I ever toddle up that way I just might, though I might keep it. All up to the players. Just because iconic doesn't mean instantly keep.

Have they said anything about compensation for players who own said IJN ships that are being changed? Fubuki for instance.

I wish. Hell in clans, I wish there were times instead of selling off tanks, you could actually donate them into a clan garrage and for a fee, buy out the tank for the next guy.

Whatever tier ship you currently have unlocked, you'll have the same tier unlocked when the changes are made.

 

I'm assuming you'll have the ship as well, cuz it would be a massive dik punch to lower my fubuki AND make me buy the new one.

Well right now only at the New Mexico and not really working on USN BBs atm anyways. Currently more focused on my Baltimore, Kiev, Schors and Bayern.

Or wait till you get the flags, then if you have to sell it off and get what you need.

Hmmm.....looking at my stats, she is my most played ship. Now, I have a few premiums that I play alot, and some I don't (Texas and Mikasa). Has anyone sold a Premium ship they haven't played in months?

Man... i hate to say it but.

 

Sell the Iowa fpr the Monty, the flags will be worth it imo. If you hate Monty after playing her sell her and buy back the Iowa. I would wait to switch the Commander until you are sure, 500 Doubs aint cheap.

!!! yes !!! tried that last week, on craigslist. lowered the price 3 times, not even one reply. my GF found the listing, and asked me what I needed the $$$$ for. i told her WoWs. she then suggested i sell my motorcycle (wth?) or get a job (wth!?). after respectfully declining those options, she claimed she was moving out. i called her bluff. now i have a lot more time to devote to WoWs!! may have to sell a ship or two, but i can blame that on the game economy, and buy some doubloons later after i find treasure.

The same tier being unlocked has been mentioned by a dev.  Not sure where, someone that knows can link to it, but I've seen it for sure.

 

The other part about getting the ship is an assumption based on what I think won't get them an insane amount of flak.

At least they found some good use for the montana lol. It will get you some extra flags for taking up port space
