What options do I have?

What options do I have to repeal a Team Kill? I didn't have any replay set up otherwise I would do that.

 

Had a DD that kept running into my BB. Told him he was only hurting himself by hitting me (indeed, he only did 7 pts of damage), but he kept sitting on my nose, drifting away a moment, then coming back. So in hindsight I shouldn't be shocked that when I fired a volley at an enemy ship, in ended up killing him. He even typed "I found a loophole." moments before I killed him.

 

I have his player name but I don't want to hastily post it if that's bad etiquette.

 

I know the pink will go away with several good games. I just hate being trolled like that.

Submit the replay to support is all you can do. It won't directly affect anything, it won't make your pink go away, it won't immediately smack the troll with sanctions, but if he continues doing this and people keep sending the replays in, someone in support is bound to take notice.

That's my problem. I don't have replays set up unless you know a way to get them. I'm sitting here with the game running in the end game stats so if there's a way, I'll do it.

Then you're out of luck. You need to edit an ini file to get replays to work, and it only takes effect from that moment. It does not create replay for matches already played.

What BB were you in, what was the DD, how close was the DD, what was the range to your target, and where you firing HE or AP?

Do you really still have to turn it on in the .ini? I can't believe they have not added an in game option for it after all this time...

Ignore the troll. If you can't report with screenshots/replays, go on with your life. Chances are you will seldom if ever encounter him again. If you do, you'll be on the lookout. Not worth getting your pressure up.

 

As per turning pink unintentionally. Happens to all of us at one point or another. Just play 5 or so battles without bumping into anybody (even causing 1 point of bump damage will set you back). You can do these in Coop or PvP, doesn't matter. The details page in the after-battle report will tell you how many battles you need.

I was in Nassau, he was in Sampson. At times he was a separate blip, other times he was overlapping mine on the mini map. I don't remember target range but I would guess in the 5-10 km range. Pretty sure it was HE as I was going after cruisers. There were at least 3 warnings on chat to him for running into me.

Agreed. And now I understand the loophole he was abusing.

 

In hindsight, it's partially my fault for thinking his collisions were accidental.... not uncommon among low level players. I assumed he was actively trying to get out of the way but I shouldn't have fired at the enemy ships in that situation. Of course, the alternative is to not help my teammates and refuse to return fire on the baddies.

 

But yeah. Nothing to do about it now. I already worked off the pink with a lightning round of Orlan Co-Ops.
