Epicenter and Cap flag modes

For the love of humanity please give us the option to NEVER play Epicenter.  This is the absolute worst idea  you could of ever done.  I would like the option

of not playing epicenter and capture the flag modes.  In wot you can  opt out of certain modes and would definitely like it here as well.  I no longer play world of 3 minute tank battles

you have completely ruined that game.  I hope epicenter isn't the start of the downfall of wows as well because it sucks.

With all the complaints, Epicenter is surely getting removed.

However, WG will never add the option to pick which mode to play in. If you did, nearly all battles would be playing Domination for Capture XP, or Standard, for seal clubbing

And a large part of naval warfare is controlling territory, which is represented in this game by circles on the map marked with buoys.

Wg already crapped all over WoT and Warplanes.  I am just trying to help them from crapping all over wows its actually somewhat fun except for epicenter.  If I personally had the choice I wouldn't play capture the flag modes either. Pretty sure

others would agree with an option not to do these modes.

According to polls you people crying about epicenter can shove it. http://forum.worldofwarships.com/index.php?/topic/95320-epicenter-poll-take-it/ Grow a pair and learn how to effectively play aggressive and suddenly epicenter isn't a bad game mode. Always hide behind islands and ride the outer edge of the map and stay scrubby like you are.

I'm with Rockaholic.  I don't see anything wrong with Epicenter thus far.  I'm not a committed brawling sort of player, but I really think that all the people who are whining about Epicenter just can't figure out that it really does NOT require constant brawling.  The Epicenter maps that I have thus far have cap circles that are actually quite large and leave plenty of room around the outside for maneuvering to support those who do go into the cap circle.

 

 

As for having the option to not play this mode, IMO this is where WoT went wrong.  There should be NO OPTION to not play a mode you don't like.  You should have to man up and deal with the challenge, rather than whining about it like a bunch of spoiled brats.

 

 

As for capture the flag modes, deal with it.  This isn't a historical simulation (and this is coming from someone who favors more historicity).  Battles are glorified steel cage matches in a battle zone that varies in size from perhaps 30x30 km (or less) to 50x50 km or even larger.  And the caps are an alternative means for teams to win other than just killing every last enemy ship.  Because without those alternatives, players on teams that are losing might have no reason to keep on playing, and might bail out.  Alternative means of victory allows a trailing team a backdoor to victory.  Furthermore, those caps often provide a location on which teams need to focus in order to complete their mission, because without it, you could conceivably have two teams pointlessly circling the map for 20 minutes.

This is the absolute garbage of game modes.

 

Even Zone and Encounter were better. I hope that whoever thought of it spends eternity spawning in the stupidly gigantic center cap in a Fuso surrounded by 10,000 Umikazes. 

 

I am not going to make suggestions for improvement.

Yes, imagine, a game in which you are a paying customer and you have choices about how you will participate. What a weird idea. I mean, there are just no games like that.
