Curious about the Tier 6 BB's and soak damage

What's your highest soak damage in your Tier 6 BB and stay alive?

 

Supplemental questions:

 

a) How much damage did you do?

b) What MM tier were you in?

c) Were you in a Division?

 

I am asking for a couple of reasons. First off I just had a really good "soak" match (screenshots below), but have had higher with regards to actually soaking damage (89k in fact in a Tier 8 match though less damage output). However, this got me thinking of a thread about the USN line. Though a few people seemed to keep changing the direction of the argument post by post. One post it's BB's then it's DD's, then it's specific ships, etc..

 

So I'm just curious about your Tier 6 Battleship soak damage. How much have you taken and lived to tell the tail?

I love playing the Yamato for this reason, the huge HP and heal combined with the great armour mean you can tank enormous amounts of damage, I wish I had taken screenshots to prove it, but getting over 500 000 damage "soaked" is easily possible. Also, there is nothing better than hearing entire AP volleys ricochet off the bow of your ship.

Well I don't have the screen shots, but the website puts my damage done at 198,675 damage in a tier 7 game while in Fuso which right now is my current record. I remember from the results screen that I took around 90,000 damage at the end of 4 repairs and 19 health left in a solo que.

I think the Bayern is the best for that. I think my best have been in the 60-70k range. German battleships were made to take a beaten, that's for sure... Perfect for farming the "Dreadnought" achievement lol

Wait, "soak" damage? As in "potential" DMG? Hmm. Not too sure how it's calculated. Pretty sure it has to do with avoiding the incoming shells. Then it'd have to be the most nimble T6 BB...

Looks like 78k and this is not to promote the Bayern in anyway absolutely loathe this ship. This game was the ONLY GAME I EVER DID WELL IN IT
