The Mutsuki is going to be downgraded to a tier V DD when the changes are made. Does this mean they will "trade" my Mutsuki and give me the Fubuki (tier VI in same DD line)? Will I just get hosed and have two tier V DDs instead of a V and a VI? What happens if I have a Hatsuharu researched, but not bought: Would the exp now go towards another ship (the new VII - forgot the name)? Would the exp be lost? I have seen plenty of speculation, but nothing official. I would think there would be some word about this as the new line seems to be coming "soon."

My fubuki will be dropping to 6, so the kagero is taking its place, I "should" get the kag. If you have a ship that is on the split, you usually get that ship and the split(they did that with the KV's I remember) But its a ways off anyway, and like said above, WG is fair on that respect, and will let us know

326 Captain_Dilbert Members 1,494 posts 12,756 battles Report post #9 Posted September 8, 2016 I'm not all that concerned what I will end up with for ships (currently have the Isokaze, Minekaze, Hatsuharu, and Fubuki) but more concerned (maybe anxious is a better word) what will happen with the captains and retraining. I'm kind of expecting to get 2 additional ships from the change (the Kagero at T8 to replace my T8 Fubuki and the Mutsuki at T5 because my Minekaze is moving to the subline) so I hope I have the opportunity to move my captains around (by then both my Fubuki and Minekaze will be 15 point captains) without retraining penalties. Overall I'm excited for the new ships.

Should I try to buy it, I wonder, or wait until after the switch so I can use the ship EXP on the new tier 9 DD? And, I sold the Mut a long time ago, wonder if I should buy it back.
