Audio

  • Added an option for custom music. Enabled via the "Audio" tab of the Settings screen. Add MP3 files to the /res/userMusic folder in your World of Warships installation folder. To enable their playback, the game client should be restarted after adding them.

And I'm dumping in all my Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Stone Temple Pilots, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton.

Play through the pain, baby...play through the pain.

Good job, Wargaming!

You should add Heather Alexander's  ' March of Cambreadth ' to that list . Otherwise looks like good choices to me ( but then I am old and grew up hearing most of those bands ) .

Will it play the same as the music in game?  My problem always has been getting the volumes right between game and ambient music sounds, so if it's a simple drag drop same type of thing that will help IMMENSELY.  Just have to get all the music onto my PC instead of the No Copyright Sounds youtube channel I use now lol

R.I.P. Stuart Scott.

No doubt. A fine man in every sense of the word.

You have to make it. The game doesn't put it there for you. Just make sure you name it exactly like it says "userMusic". I've got mine going right now.

This replaces the music in game completely. It plays randomly whatever you put in there, but the randomizer isn't very good. (I got 4 Rolling Stones Tunes to one Soundgarden so far.)

Also, there's a slider for the music volume level in the settings, so you can put it to whatever level you like.

Well that is a problem lol . The last time I did any coding(programming) they used punch tape from a teletype like machine ( yes I am that old as that was in High School ) .   :teethhappy:

You have to create it, Chien Lu, but after you do it works just fine (or so the posters say.)

I thought about this last night while recording footage for youtube.  If you record to youtube, keep a vanilla copy of the game in your Pc as well and record with that.  Last thing you need is to upload a video and get a Copyright violation notice for using regular music instead of game music lol

couldn't you just like lower the in game sound and run like windows media (or similar) in the background?

Yes, but why would you? That's two programs you have to mess with to get right vs. just one.

Took me a grand total of about 4 minutes to get mine dialed in perfectly. Now I just launch WoWS and I'm done. No balancing act / alt-tabbing / fudging keyboard volumes required.
