New Orleans Armor Possibly Wrong - The_Chieftain Responds

TL;DR - The armor viewer has led someone to spotting possible inaccuracies in the armor model for New Orleans, The_Chieftain says he will look into it and check it over with St. Petersburg.

Many historical sources are also given as evidence to support this. Chieftain says he will look at it in the morning.

And surprise, I actually would like this to be looked at and possibly fixed if it is indeed erroneous. The overall armor of New Orleans was pretty meh, and it could use some help there.

This is one of the reasons I was looking forward to the armor viewer. Allows us to call WG out on erroneous armor models by the more keenly eyed among us.

 yep, errors that were easily found as soon as the armor viewer was released are totes proof of a vast WG anti-USN conspiracy. WG is so anti-American they're willing to throw away their credibility and secretly sabotage their ship models, and then release a tool for players to find the sabotage.

Always found it odd that the tier 7 Indianapolis felt better protected than the tier 8 New Orleans.  Who knows maybe some other ships might get some help.

utter bull, you mean to tell me that you can make completely overpowered armored ships on purpose and then, woops, we completely messed up the American ships armor, not in just one spot, but all over the dang ship. Oh my bad, i guess a reality check is in order that a complete hosing of the Armor of an American cruiser 5 places was just an accident? When the heck are you going to wake up to the reality that is starring you right in the face.

Now I just posted yesterday a long well wishing post hoping that Russians and Americans can and should work together more. But even in that post i admitted to Russian bias being totally evident. And yet, here we have complete proof! Look i hold no grudges against any Russians. But they clearly hold grudges against Americans. Why? I have no idea whatsoever.

You can tank BBs in an Indi with some luck and proper angling, although not for very long. Nola just gets perma wrecked.
