Epicenter - can you opt out?

I don't like the Epicenter format any more than I liked its predecessor.  I am wondering if there is a way to opt out.  I don't see this in Settings, but maybe there is another way.  If I see a lot of these Epicenter battles I will play this game less and go 100% to tanks.  Meanwhile,  WarGaming, send me an e-mail when you junk this like you did its former version, so I will know when to come back.

They ignored the anger  over the mode in PT, and brought it in anyway. They honestly think they can force players to play a certain way......Starting to sound like Politicians....

Only played Epicenter/Trident 1 time.  As usual,  my team's BB's hung back.  Don't think this will be too popular with the masses IMHO.

I'm suspicious that this game mode made be something that's more driven by "meta" of the Russian server's player base than any other servers' player bases, since supposedly the RU server is more brawling oriented from what I've heard (rightly or wrongly).  And if true, it does seem like it may end up being a mode that doesn't go over as well here on the NA server.

 

As for Zone, I had no problem with the Zone mode, though it would have been better if it included domination points for battles where the clock ran out to avoid draws.

I think that I recall reading that it's on like 4-5 different maps.  Check the patch notes.

• This mode is available for battle on  "Big Race" (battle tier V), "Strait", "Trident" (battle tiers VI-VIII), and "Tears of the Desert" (battle tiers IX-X) maps

 

This really sounds like a bad mode for the following reasons:

• Seems like it will be easy to block a team on the outer ring by being on the other side
• Going into the inner circle seems to be suicide for anyone other than a USN DD knife fighter
• Seems like it will lead to even less confrontation between BBs and CAs since it doesn't seem like they will be able to realistically cap
• How large is the inner circle going to be?  Will BB's have much room to manuver?
