100th Battle in Bonny Achieved

Although the 100th battle was a loss...

6th Witherer I got. Grabbed first 5 in my Chappy 

 

Some general ideas about Russian cruisers up to T8: (experienced captains please skip, nothing special...)

 

T1-T4, I guess just go in and brawl as most low tier ships...

 

From T5, things have changed, because BBs start to have nice guns, and Russian cruisers have almost no side armor... So positioning is quite important: don't attract too much attention, and angle as much as you can... Actually it's the general rule for all cruisers... What makes them different is their guns: high ROF, nice shell arc over range. They can support their DDs quite effectively at relatively longer range, which I think makes their overall WR higher than other cruisers. However, sometimes you do need to hold your fire to keep stealthy when you are in a bad position, like there are too many BBs and you can't properly angle your ship. Use your speed, reposition, then rain fire upon enemies again. You may sacrifice some damage for a while, but this can keep you alive so that you can do more damage later. Last, switch between HEs and APs wisely, cuz their APs can punish enemy cruisers hard when they dare to show you a broadside...
