Will playing on two moniters ever be a thing again?

I used to be able to simply play in windowed mode and drag the window to cover 2 moniters.  Well 1 and 3/4 moniters to be exact so reticle wasn't in the center of the 2 screens.  It used to work just fine.  It works in tanks just fine, which actually seems to have much better graphics.  It bothers me that its broken mostly because once you've played on 2 screens, the field of view is so much better that it makes going back down to one feel like your playing with an eye patch on.  I cant imagine your testers and devs play on a single screen?  What is the deal with this?  Surely it can be rolled back somehow.

Also the game is not optimized or ever will be (I'm just guessing) for 2 monitors

I bought a DELL u3415w  wide screen 34 inch curved monitor....WOW is pretty immersive NOW!

I'd sooner see SLI or Crossfire support
