I also commented on the one gaffe, which for a pilot... Repeat after me: knots are nautical miles per hour. It is already baked in.

I think a lot of people may feel that way when they get to the Gneisenau. Though the Scharnhorst might be a tad better. They truly compliment each other. Plus, you get the benefits of having a CPT trainer with the Scharnhorst.

I'm looking forward to Gneisenau as, to me at least, it seems that each higher tier in the German BB line is more fun and Bayern has been entertaining so far. (Of the two sisters) I don't have either of them. But I will probably buy Scharnhorst on Friday. I will eventually get its sister as I slowly grind up the lines. From what I hear about it, I will probably end up keeping it after I unlock Bismarck.

I see you attempt to load HE like 3 times in the video, my AP keeps getting switched to HE at random times. Over and over again. (Most people honestly aren't going to want to use HE on German BBs AND try and get pen shots aiming. It looks like you made a mistype each time...)

The Scharnhorst and Gneisenau are neck and neck for stats for all games. They are both almost the same. However, the top players are getting more average damage in the Scharnhorst than the Gneisenau. It has more guns, longer range, faster reload, and about the same dispersion. The Scharn can also engage destroyers better due to more guns and faster reload. So if you like the Gneisenau, you should actually like the Scharn just as much, if not more.
17 Whiteout ∞ Beta Testers 153 posts 7,170 battles Report post #15 Posted October 4, 2016 I sold mine after I got Bismarck because I have Scharnhorst too but it was really hard. I fell in love with that ship. Scharnhorst just feels a little more versatile though and they just aren't different enough for me to keep both like Bismarck and Tirpitz. Great ship though. You can carry a lot in it with the kind of tiering you see in it most times.
31 TANSTAAFL Beta Testers 103 posts 14,003 battles Report post #16 Posted October 4, 2016 They are two of my favorite ships, hands down. Mostly because they're some of the most entertaining battleships to play. I tend towards the aggressive (too much so probably) and these ships tend to reward not being shy. It's also funny how many people forget they have torps.....
