USS Independence being explored by ROV

I'm underway myself elsewhere and the ship's internet won't play video, but this looks like a really neat stream. The Independence survived the nuclear tests at Bikini Atoll and, after analysis, was scuttled off San Francisco near the Farallon Islands.

What a beautiful ship, I wonder why the Navy didn't sand out those slight bumps. Definitely some sanding would fix her up!

I believe that was after the nuclear blast

She survived the Nuclear blast right? However, they needed to scuttle her because of the radiation I believe.
