As an outstanding member of this community, I find it necessary to show this douchebachery! God forbid I put money into this game! I would like to stream this game more often on my twitch and recommend it to my viewers, however I can not in such a state of toxicity and anger! 'gg thanks to me' seems to have been said by Kyogre(who is unsurprisingly pink status) in the battle, which I presume set this guy of I was dragged into a tier 10 match with my Tirpitz and one of the glory fletcher destroyer boys decided to drive into my torps when I was in range of a BB, and claimed it was my fault, yet if you have a tier 9, tier 10 ship, this community believes you to be an expert of the game no? Also, that message was from another tier 10 match prior in my Tirpitz when I decided to break the mold (aka sniping meta) and torp a tier 10 dd and a Yamato, breaking through a siege line, creating an opportunity for my team to win,so yes, gg to me for helping break the mold! I play my Saipan all the time and often people will be toxic and chat because I didn't help them and they tell me to learn how to read a map and to Go play co-op battles. That's saying if I was driving a car and was going on a green light and you go ahead of me on a red light and hit my car, then its your fault not mine. Let me give you a better example, it's like when you go at a stoplight and another car that's supposed to be stop hit's your car, then how is it your fault. That analogy is pretty awful - the torpedo warning indicator goes off at a pretty short distance (which is your metaphorical stoplight), so he wouldn't know to stop for sure until it was too late. It's probably more of a case of in pari delicto - that is, you both are equally at fault at first instance. You could have held your fire if you knew torps were going to hit, and the guy could've had better situational awareness and avoided the torps altogether. However, considering your stats, it's expected at your level of play that you exercise better judgement when firing your torpedoes - therefore, you are actually more at fault than the other guy, regardless of his level of situational awareness. It's also compounded by the fact that you created the threat in the first place - you and only you. Also, what's so hard about saying sorry when you damage a teammate? You really gotta adopt a moderated approach to things. Pretty sure if you title your threads with things like 'MUH STETS', you don't do too well at mitigating the possible distress of others.
