Add Signature Photo, Why is it not working?

Ok, I'm no noob when it comes to forums, but I keep getting an error :

Invalid image. Unable to calculate size.

 

My photo is under the size stipulated and yet it does not work.  I have tried three different ones, all under size, and still get the error message every time.

 

Any ideas what is going on here?

If it's an image of a furry, it will not accept it.

use tiny pic and make sure its a JPEG
