Repair Party option for Carriers

Carriers are built on hulls as large or larger than battleships, and in all that space there is not one person trained to do Repairs?  I find that beyond belief. What do you think?

The point of the repair consumable is to make Battleships and high tier cruisers tankier.  A CV should not be tanking.  The only real threat should be the enemy CV or a sneaky DD.  The first is dealt with defensive fire at higher tiers and the second by any competent CV captain.  Repair on a CV would make them essentially impossible to kill unless you roll their entire team.  The problem with CVs is the AA disparity between tiers and USN loadouts.  Not their HP pool.

While from a "realism" POV I get what you're saying, in gameplay repair party is wasted space on a CV.  The only time you need it is if you get caught napping and a red DD lights you on fire while you're trying to launch planes, and at that point the odds of you surviving long enough to get to a second repair charge are slim to none.

2. Reduce number of squadrons per carrier

3. Reduce number of replacement planes per squadron/carrier

4. Eliminate manual torpedo drop

5. Balance carrier squadrons so there are no more "strike" carriers, just ones with balanced squadrons

6.Take another look at CV's and see how they are doing now, after improvements

​How are those six suggestions an "Improvement" for CV's ??  Looks like your trying to suggest ways to diminish them..   How are less planes better ?   How are less squadrons per carrier better ?   Less everything>?  No manual torp shots? What next no manual shooting of Torps and Gun fire for other ships too?>

So basically, make them into ships that nobody actually wants to play because they've been nerfed to holy heck.

I voted yes to repair parties.  I think that all ships, not just the capitol ships, should have a repair party.  Maybe make it on DD's you only get 1, on CA/CL's you get 2, and so on.

Except for maybe number 5 I disagree with everything you have listed here. What do you want to do make CV point and click ships that can only attack a few times?

What one should do is allow carriers the option if their planes are gone (or sya 75% of them are dead) they can do a repair option that allows them to get some of them back.

I actually think all ships should have the repair party option to some extent.  Like one for DDs, two for CA/CL/CVs, etc. because any ship at sea can repair itself to some extent.   But it wont ever happen.
