Can we please get the Blucher into the game? She should be a Tier all IMHO. The counter would the  Italian San Giorgio or Pisa class armoured cruisers for game balance. Just daydreaming reading the 1919 reprint of Jane's fighting ships of WWII.

I would love all these ships, but please give details on ship you want added. Three sentence posts aren't really worth it.

Tier III on my phone all thumbs.

Blucher at T3???? It would be incredibly OP at T3, not exactly sure where it fits, but probably 5 or 6

There's no way Blucher would work at tier 3, with 12 8 inch guns. Tier 5 would probably fit her more.

Yes, I know. That Blucher had 12 8 inch guns.

The 1908 Blucher is a solid Tier 5.

12 8.3" guns and able to fire 6 to the front and rear and 8 on a broadside.

Almost 16000 tons and close to 26 kt speed.

Way to powerful for Tier 3.

Depending on how they balance her she could fit between tier 4-6, with most of us agreeing when the Blucher 1st came up over a year ago that 5 would be the most natural choice.

I was speaking of the 1909 SMS Blucher sunk at the battle of Dogger bank. She had the same turret layout as the Nassau. The two Italian ships are the same. Use the search function to find her stats. I'm on my phone and not going to bother to thumb type them when somebody already has done it.

I think she would not be too powerful at tier III she would be a great counter to AFT equipped Bogatyr's which are slaying at T3.

Lets do a quick compare of the Blucher to the St.Louis.

Displacement (Full Load Long Tons)

USS St. Louis: 10,839

SMS Blucher: 17,200

Speed

USS St. Louis: 22 Kt

SMS Blucher: 25.4

Main Guns

USS St. Louis: 14 6" 50 caliber guns mostly casement mounted

SMS Blucher: 12 8.3" 45 caliber guns mounted in 6 turrets

Armor

USS St. Louis: 4" Belt, 2-3 " Deck

SMS Blucher: 2.4" - 7.1" Belt, 2.4" - 7.1" Turrets

I could not quickly find IRL effective gun range for the St. Louis, but the Blucher was able to accurately fire at WW1 DD size ships at 12,000 yards, though by 16,000 yards her accuracy firing at DD's had steeply dropped off.

Way to powerful for tier 3 unless she is MASSIVELY smacked down for balancing purposes.

As I recall Blucher paid the price for the German retreat, story told from an engine room artificer about a shell that penetrated and the pressure blew a man into the machinery and a horrible death.

For the debate, I'd say a tier IV armored cruiser (BC) as we've come to know it in the game.  It's just too old for anything else.  The SC's eight 12" guns, for one, would be bad enough news for it, let alone aircraft.
