But WG has stated that they are focusing on fleshing out the major navies for the time being. Still a great idea +

Two of these ships have MAIN GUNS that are 76 mm, and one of those only has two of those gun turrets. Hunt class doesn't even get torps until the 1940 revision, and the BEST of these DD's would fit right in at tier 3, maybe, with a buff or two. These are destroyers leftover from World War One, most of them built by someone else, operated by a nation who really couldn't afford them. Premiums, maybe; a complete line, IMO, no.

Freccia - 2x2 120mm, and a 6 barrel torpedo launcher, going at 38kt? I think I can place that at tier 5/6 comfortably. Has some AA. G- , H- - 4x1 120mm, and a pair of quadruple torpedo tubes, going at 35.5kt. With a possible upgrade to 5x1 120mm. Minimal AA. Tier 5 or maybe even 4 with the right balancing. Lonchi - 2x76mm.....stop right there. No. It gets worse. 2x torpedo tubes. Single launchers. 30kt. This isn't even worth mentioning. Not as a tier 1. Niki - Same problem as Lonchi, 2x76mm guns going at 30kt. And same torpedo setup. Hunt T1 - 4x1 102mm, no torps. 27.5kt. Hunk of junk. Not sure were that would fit in? Tier 2 ...gunboat...thing? Did I mention it has no torps? Hunt T2 - 6x1 100mm, still no torps. 27kt.... another gunboat I guess. Tier 3... with no torps? But six cannons. Slow ....very slow for a DD. Hunt T3 - 4x1 100mm, TORPEDOES to the tune of 2x21incher.... 27kt. SO uh.....yea. Another awful tier 2/3. Hunt T4 - 6x1 100mm, 3x21 inch tubes, 26kt. .... I'd rather have the T2 with no torps and another kt of speed. So, Freccia, and the G/H are the only really viable destroyers with torpedoes. The Hunt T2 or T4 might be ... tier 2 viable, but they are god-awful slow for destroyers.

No. G or H, 4 120's and a pair of quad launchers? OK maybe tier 5, equal to a Mini, but very light guns, like a Mini. So, 2 premiums. And as for the rest, I hear they need ships to help rebuild the Great Barrier Reef off Australia.
100 DeMatt Beta Testers 365 posts 12,391 battles Report post #10 Posted August 21, 2016 I would be very surprised to see a Greek research tree. Of the six ship classes you've listed, three belong to other nations: the Hunts and the G/H are both British designs, and the Freccia is an Italian design. Of the other three, the "Lonchi" (Wikipedia calls this the Thyella-class) and the Niki are both far too small to be worthwhile. Seriously, the Sampson (USN tier 2 DD) is three times the tonnage. That leaves the Wild Beast class, which could debatably make it in at tier 2 or 3, depending on which refit they pick. Of heavier shipping, there's nothing of any note except for the armored cruiser Georgios Averof - and she suffers from "mixed caliber" armament that WoWS does not deal well with. So, of actual Greek shipping, I'd realistically only expect two ships to appear, and then only as premiums: the aforementioned Georgios Averof (assuming WG figures out some way of dealing with her mixed-caliber armament), and a Wild Beast destroyer, probably Aetos as the lead.
