Hi guys!

As per the request of Sinboto and mofton, here's some pics of some Town, Crown Colony, and Dido-class ships. Note: Not all will be good quality and/or big, again, Brits didn't like taking good pics of their pretty ships. With that said let's get started!:great: Pics were found via google image hunt.

Ow1dQbn.jpgLet's start with the Town-class, and the most obvious one, HMS Belfast, seen here moored as a museum in the middle of the Thames River just west of Tower Bridge. Sweet camo pattern too! :medal:

yY82Jcy.jpgThis one (Ignore the lines, I have no idea why the uploader put those there) is HMS Liverpool, sailing into, judging by the architecture, Grand Harbor, Malta.

pvtgKuI.jpg

Here's HMS Sheffield seen in a color photo no less! Don't ask, I have no idea where or when, just enjoy the photo.:hiding:

hct07Pd.jpgCrown Colony-class next, here's HMS/HMNZS Gambia, in a good port beam shot. This is the Fiji-sub class so the tier 7.

Zm5UFr4.jpg

HMCS Quebec, also known as HMCS Uganda, seen during Op Mainbrace, on Oct 1, 1952.

nDbaOle.jpgHMCS Ontario, showing off good for the camera. Port beam, views of her superstructure, forward guns, and stacks.

0SmII7V.jpgDido-class last, featuring HMS Dido herself showing just what an HMS Atlanta would look like.

yN5Gdll.jpg

HMS Diadem, showing what the Bellona-sub class looks like.

JZBjxLu.jpgHMS Spartan, same sub class as Diadem, good profile shot showing a good camo scheme.

Ae9c0DI.pngHMS Argonaut, Dido-sub class,of the Dido-class. Seen with a different scheme than her sister. Showing off an excellent view of her forward guns and bridge structure.

CHRZW7t.jpgHMS Euryalus, (good luck with that one) transiting a narrow channel with onlookers on the shore.

HMVxy0G.jpgHere's one for the Kiwis, HMNZS Royalist, seen here post war with a good starboard bow shot showing the modifications made post war to some of the Dido-class.

ObgkVhr.jpgAnd finally HMNZS Black Prince, seen at dock again in post war mods. And look, color!

And there we have it, I have pics for all the ships of the class but there is a picture limit on these posts so...

Anyway, got a ship you want to see? Well then ask for it!

Fair winds and following seas captains! :honoring:

At least Canada and New Zealand can take good pics. The Belfast is the Edinburgh sub class, her sister is the tier 8.

Here's one for the Zealanders, HMNZS Royalist, seen here post war with a good starboard bow shot showing the modifications made post war to some of the Dido-class.

The 'Zealanders' are Kiwis

HMS Euryalus, (good luck with that one) transiting a narrow channel with onlookers on the shore.  The channel in question actual name is The Suez Canal, based on what I can tell from the picture it appears to be transiting south to north heading for the Mediterranean Sea.  I think based on the military forces present (foreground) and the buildings on the far side they have just pasted Al Qantarah, Egypt.

Very nice photos, thanks for posting them. + 1 :medal:

Ah thank you, I had an inkling that it could be the Suez canal but I wasn't sure.
