Well that someone was wrong. The Farragut does not have stealth torps. It does not have stealth guns  (apparently it does have a 1.5k stealth gun range, who knew). Here is what I have managed to do just tonight in the Farragut.

So if you are not having such a great time in American Destroyers that can't stealth then give them another try. It takes a certain level of captain, and a certain play style to do well in these little scrappers. As well, if you don't like battleships right now, i suggest giving DD's a try. As you can see from my signature stats, I am not a great player. So, if I can do well in this thing, anyone really can if they set it up right and play a certain style.

Umm, the Farragut has 1.5 km stealth fire zone when fully upgraded with even a 1 point captain.

Ahh yes, you are right. I just noticed that. But good luck trying to hit anything with these guns at that range.

Used to be much worse, but torp + smoke buffs over the past year + IJN DD torp nerfs made it more competitive for its tier.

I actually thought that the farragut was very good. I hated the Nicholas though.

Who said she was bad? She's better than the other T6 DDs for sure.
