Greetings all,

For the second installment of the series we have the new German battleships. I have included all of the German battleships even though 6 of them are sisterships, I included all sisres because in game Gneisenau has a lengthened bow and is therefore longer than Scharnhorst, Kaiser got a curved bow which makes her slightly longer than Konig Albert and Tirpitz is slightly longer than Bismarck (although it's hardly noticeable).

Note: click on the image to view the whole picture at once without having to scroll down.

Special thanks to MajorRenegade for adding the large font ship names.

Is that an optical illusion, or is Gneisenau really longer than Scharnhorst?

Imma go check wiki...

Gneisenau was actually slightly shorter than Scharnhorst IRL, but In game she has a lengthened bow to accommodate her larger turrets. The lowest image is what she would have looked like, notice the longer bow.

ahh, gotcha.

I recall South Dakota having front end buoyancy problems because of a shortened bow, despite having the same heavy turrets as NC.

The higher tiers are truly massive, especially when compared to ships like the Kaiser, the sense of size creep is truly powerful when looking at them.

O.O

Could the Tier X even make it through the gap in two brothers?
