The Saipan is CLEARLY busted, but I guess no one on the forums has the IQ to understand. A. Didn't win the game B. I run Fighter Spec with Air Supremacy C. The Saipan is a great ship, that's why it was used a lot in rank. But they really only shut down average CV players. Their issues are that fighters run out of ammo very fast and that a good strafe is just as effective against them as any other CV. The stats show it is really balanced. 1st in win rate. 2nd in Damage. 1st in XP (Premium) Tied in K/D 2nd Average kills 1st in planes The Hiryu is there the whole way with it, only the Ranger is doing bad. HAH, that's funny, because every time my friend faced off against a Saipan in his Hiryu, he got smoked, and he'd target the Fighters which gave him a bonus in damage because of a Manual Target. No matter HOW he did it, whether he got into a furball with them above a damned Cruiser, a Battleship, it didn't matter, the Saipan ALWAYS came out on top. Notice the part I said about it shutting down average players? You have 12 carrier games... How are you going to use the experience of others to justify anything you say about them when you NEVER PLAYED IT?
