Is it still clubbing if you're deleting bots?

Because of 'Reason,' I like to keep my PvE total at a round '50' by total games played.

Finished 'Grab the Torch' yesterday in co-op, and so after finishing the Daily Mission, decided to play some more just to relax, work towards evening out the total games played, and so I wouldn't stress out pointlessly like I seem to do on occasion in PvP.

What a nice game to start with...

This is my best PvE in Erie ever, and was played after switching back to the smaller guns for a faster rate of fire, after reading or watching a review (I don't remember which,) saying the ship actually performed better with the original guns.

Of course doing well should be expected, with so many games under my belt; but doing so much damage and getting so many citadels surprised me a little; the game even beat my top game record for PvP in the Erie.

So I ask once more; is it still clubbing if you're deleting bots?

It is still clubbing.

You're not there for the bots....

You're not there for the points...

You're there for the stat padding.

How do you pad stats that don't even count? :hiding:

It's more like kicking brain dead automatons.  Scored 192k dmg in my Tirpitz the other day in PVE.

Only good for padding Co-op stats. Even then I don't pay as much attention to them as it seems some players do. I look at WST when I feel like it, but don't really understand how some of the number are calculated, and am completely clueless as to why the line charts fluctuate the way they do...

It was probably iChase that did the review, same one I watched a month or so back, did at the request of his Patreon supporters. They're 5"/51's, same as on the A hull Tier 5 Nicholas, 960 m/s velocity, the USN version of Russian 130 mm rail guns. Unfortunately, in 5.10, those guns are going away on the Erie, along with the other changes to Tier 1's. Seems even at Tier 1, the USN isn't allowed to have better guns than the Russians.:(

 Agreed.

You left out one more possible reason people might play low-tier co-op. That being that its just fun. In my experience, the matches are quick paced, people generally don't complain if you screw up, the community is congenial, and you can mint credits and free XP if you're reasonably good. So after a long, crap day at work, low-tier co-op offers a wonderful way to just relax and have some fun without worrying about things like stats and win-rates. In that respect its very much like the Jacuzzi mode Wargaming made available back in April.

Say it isn't so. Better yet, is there information on this in the form of patch notes? Reason I'm commenting on this is I really like the Erie's 5-inch guns because they pump out the damage, are reasonably accurate, fire fast, and turn quick. I might actually sell my Erie if they did this because the 6" guns on Erie are decidedly underwhelming. Not that nerfing Erie's guns would make me play that horrid piece-of-crap that is the Orlan. I'd just devote my time in T1 to the Hashidate and Hermelin.

I swear. It's like they are trying to completely get rid of the 127/51. Heaven forbid a gun that can pin the ears back on an equivalent RU gun.

The lower the tier the greater the ai dispersion and more random the targeting. I've seen ai miss a Chester by a ship length at a ship length.

On the plus side t1's won't have better stats than the t2 cruisers.

I guess we have to invent time travel, go back to 1920, and tell the USN brass that they need to put the 5"/51 on everything so our pretend pixel ships can be as good as Russian ones.

Or go back in time, give the USN a dual purpose 5" gun with a muzzle velocity of 1500 meters per second, a rate of fire of 100 rounds per minute, and the ability to penetrate Yamato belt-armor at 20km so that Wargaming would think the 5"/51 was a downgrade.:hmm:

Got 7 kills in the Hermelin a few weeks ago in co-op,Hermelin + AP = OP! ( If I ever play it enough to get AFT is gonna be even more OP!).

I'd play it in PVP if I knew we had the population and the MM was going to 'work as advertised'!Don't want to put new players off bt qrecking their early games PVE games.
