Reluctant to play Random.

I am still having games crash -which happens more often in Random for whatever reason. Now it has gone to a screen freeze , where before it didn't . I have to log off and back on and guess what???y the time I get back on I'm dead. Yes I did submit a ticket as required , and no I didn't get a reply (several) days ago. To be short , it comes up as a file application error game must close wow is checking on it .(at this point I race to get back in ). No it isn't checking because I'm not getting any notification via your tech support after I submitted the ticket. And please don't say -uninstall and reinstall .  That won't help because I tried that before with no results. It is becoming pointless to play in Random mode because in Co-op I have a chance to get back into the game in time, since the Bots don't "often" fire at you. In random-well I shouldn't have to explain . Please help me to find a solution ,Thanks.

Post your system specs and run in safe mode if you have any mods. This problem could be a driver issue or a ram issue, most likely.

It would be most helpful to tech support to include the details of the error as well. If you have, then I guess this is irrelevant

Sounds like a similar issue to what I had. Support recommended an update to my video drivers which resolved the issue. It wouldn't hurt to update them.

I used to have issues with some of the C++ libraries they downloaded as part of their updates; but that's been a couple updates back. I agree it is quite feasible you may be having video driver issues, depending on the hardware you have. 

 

One thing I've noticed when starting the game - if you switch to desktop, that can monkey the game up if you do it at the wrong time. Silly I know, but I no longer do that and the problem isn't there. 

 

One final suggestion - don't run anything in the background, any other apps.

Thanks for the replies folks, I don't know what C++ libraries are , but I'll ask around. I'll check video drivers with a tech I know, as well as checking desktop and other suggestions made . Thanks again for your help, I appreciate good advice. You guys are the rare ones that aren't rude etc. I'm sure you know what I mean. Cheers.
