I've fought 20 battles in the Russian server and boy am I disappointed. There was none of the brawling and clumping up that I heard, instead they were even more chaotic than us here at NA. Even less communication. 95% of them don't know what they are doing. Plus, of course, I don't know their language. NA feels like paradise compared to RU, as long as there aren't schoolkids playing. I may only be an average player here with a 49% WR (crappy teams) and 29.7k average damage, but RU...... man. That's Russian gamers for you.

Lots of teamkilling, ramming allies. Have you guys noticed an improvement in gameplay and teams here say, compared to half a month ago? The reason why I decided to try RU was because I got a bit tired of constantly having bad games here (recently), but NA feels like paradise compared to RU.

Well, the difference in meta is usually only in high tier play. Their brawling high tier meta is more obvious when you look at the ships that have the highest win rates in their server.

You're in the lower tiers.  Get into the high tiers where they sing the praise of Des Moines with regularity and complain about Amagi needing buffs.

At any rate, the lower tiers are literally, "everyone for themselves".  TK'ing, friendly fire, derping around, etc can be found more easily there than here.  And if you thought that was bad, it was even worse prior to the stricter TK rules, as Russians tended to fire a torp or gun volley whether or not you were in the way, as they were hellbent on getting even one hit onto an opportune enemy target.

They were also especially unfriendly to non-Russians, TK'ing them as soon as the timer reached zero.

You see it in the mid tiers too but the low tiers play pretty much the same on all of the servers.

The Russian players are why we got the new rules, TK's were rare enough here that they weren't a problem and screenshots and zipped copies of the replay were sufficient for those few occasions that reporting was needed.

Russia does not have a monopoly on trolls. More than enough here too.

P.S. Please don't blame your win rate on crappy teams. We all get them. Heck, sometimes I crap out badly. Instead, read LittleWhiteMouse's "How To Control Your Win Rate"

They're also the main reason Kitakami is problematic to release again, as well as nerf to IJN DDs in general.  20 torps per broadside and the yummy possibility of taking down 2 or more enemy ships in one burst (remember Russian deathballs)?  Done.  Who cares if one friendly is in the way; the rest of the volley will sink or damage enough enemy ships to cover the repair cost of a sunk friendly (back in CBT when team damage penalties were chump change compared to now).

Sure, the NA server had some TK issues even with ships like Shima, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as it was in Russia prior to the new TK rule changes and the IJN DDs getting nerfed to oblivion (doesn't help that Russians don't dodge or don't have room to dodge being in giant clusterballs and their mob mentality).

Their TK'ing was more from not caring about friendlies than trolling. Sadly trolls are universal.
