Your 3 Premium Carrier Ideas?

What 3 carriers would you love to see added to the game as Premium ships and why? Any nation(s).

Doubt we'd ever see any Tier 3 premium CVs, although from what I understand there were seaplane tenders in early Alpha.

Akagi and Kaga will be on the eventual 2nd CV line, probably at Tier 8 and 9. Akagi's been modeled since Alpha.

If just three ships of any tier, I would love to see Graf Zeppelin, Yorktown (CV-5) and Shinano.

Shinano was the Tier 10 CV in Alpha, but did terribly because WG only gave her her actual airgroup and not the 90+ reserves.

They'll probably drop her at Tier 10 on the 2nd CV line, if they give her all the reserves she couldn't use IRL.

USS Enterprise CV-6, cause most decorated ship in US Navy history. Can fit nicely as Tier 8 premium. 

IJN Akagi, cause flagship of 1st Air Fleet and Kido Butai, and first real fleet carrier of the IJN after Hosho. Easy to put it as Tier 8 premium. 

IJN Kaga, cause 2nd fleet carrier ever built after Akagi, part of Kido Butai, again, can fit in nicely as Tier 8 premium. 

 

 

USS Hornet or Yorktown could also be a good choice.

 

IJN Shinano could be good also, but it would be a Tier X premium, and who the hell wants to allow that eh? Better to have it as part of second IJN carrier line perhaps.

Shinano, because Yamato hull = stupid amounts of reserve aircraft.

Béarn, because only actual French CV.  Although they might dig out a line of paper, who knows.

HMCS Bonaventure, because Canada.  I suppose they could do HMCS Warrior instead, if they were really really insistent on only modelling the Colossus-class and avoiding the Majestic-class.

I've got 3 ideas:

 

-Tier 7: IJN Akagi

-Tier 8: USS Enterprise

-Tier 6: KMS Graf Zeppelin

It's difficult to say for sure.  The reserve usually consists of disassembled aircraft that couldn't be readied for combat in-battle.  Hiryu counts her reserve numbers into her plane pool anyways, but she's alone among represented CVs in doing so.

Premiums should be ships of note. So, my list, in no particular order:

 

1. USS Enterprise

2. HMS Victorious

3. IJN Shokaku or Zuikaku (kind of a Japanese Scharnhorst/Gneisenau or Tirpitz/Bismarck thing)

4. Graf Zeppelin, just cuz.

Japan will likely get a new carrier line ending with shinano and including akagi, kaga, soryu, chitose, unryu and ryuho. Germany and britain will have their own cv tech trees so id say 1 british cv likely illustrious, yorktown/wasp and a Japanese carrier likely hiyo

Enterprise, definitely due to be a premium.  Graf Zepplin's a good premium because it was a one-off.  Throw Akagi in at Tier 8 to cruise alongside its original form.

Tier 3 carrier premium eh?  I suppose there's always USS Los Angeles (ZR-3),  She was equipped with a prototype trapeze system, or there's USS Akron (ZRS-4) or USS Macon (ZRS-5) that was purpose built with the trapeze system, and could launch a 5 plane squadron.  While they'd only be able to launch one squadron, the ship itself were capable of 69 knots at max speed, and ships at tier 3 don't exactly have a lot of AA, meaning that these potential ships could do some damage and can do well as reconnaissance ships.  We know that WG already has these sort of ships modeled in the the Polar map, and the New York port.

Lol, I just realize that it is indeed the USS Macon (ZRS-5) in the New York port.  Just make it playable and it is going to be fun on a bun!
