Tirpitz or Warspite?

Which would you rather take into battle?

yeah.... I know... the Warspite is tier 6 and the Tirpitz is tier 8.  But I find that Warspite is a better choice despite its' lower tier.  I just wanna see what you all think.

I prefer the Tirpitz because of those torpedo mounts, the joy they bring me when I get the chance to use them is great, not to mention she is overall a good ship, and makes excellent money for its tier due to being a tier 8 premium

Get both. I plan on saving up for the Tirpitz. I will have her soon. I only have the Warspite for now.

Warspite is a well-known lolpen machine in ITS TIER.

tirpitz seem to be the better pick for me. Seem to take damage and deal it back well and i like the range on the guns of the tirpitz over the Warspite. But in the end there both fun to play.

I voted Warspite. With the recent armor adjustments she is very well protected again. She plays in a tier where she makes more than she loses in credits. She is a brawler (like the Tirpitz) with the advantage of great turning. The main reason I voted for this ship is how the meta is played.

 

The Tirpitz is a great ship, one of my most played in fact. However she is a ship with a low skill ceiling and high floor. That means you can jump right in with her and do well. But once you get to Tier 8 you are getting into the Bow meta. The NC, Iowa, Izumo, Yamato, and Montana are all ships you can see and none of them are ships that you can defeat at their game. That means it's really hard to dig yourself out of a hole if your team is down and you cannot do your job of focusing cruisers.

 

The Warspite however is the queen of her Tier. Only less tanky than the Arizona, her main drawback is the amount of shells she can shoot at once. Until the Dunkerque arrives, she is the only BB at T6 with 8 rounds. However her secondaries melt faces. She can keep up with the nagato in a close range battle and that is really saying something.

 

So all in all, while they are both fantastic ships, the Warspite suffers far less in her tier and against what she can see vs the Tirpitz.

Tirpitz bcuz of her torps and she can ricochet a hell of a lot of shells (a few times a Yamato fired at me and it ricochet all of them) and shes a real scary brawler if u know htp her correctly and use her correctly.

 

But on the other hand, WS is a good ship for her tier and op t9 guns (the way it feels like a t9) and her fast rudder, but the most thing I still hate (of course since she was launched) is her armor and her easy cit shots............but I can see that REASONABLE since its a WG TITLE after all.

 

In the end, I'd prefer Tirpitz all the way bcuz as I stated above but as well as she's one of my fav WWII history ships. (Of course, I prefer Bismarck more but Tirpitz has a good/interesting history)

I favor Tirpitz more. Warspite's guns are great but the turrets are so slow that maneuvering throws them off too easily. Tirpitz may have smaller guns at tier 8 but she makes up for it with speed, both rate of fire and turret traverse. While many people use torpedoes as a primary reason (which is nice i suppose) for me its the overall ease of  handling of the ship that makes me enjoy her better. I don't always get to torp every match anyhow...
