I have tested, but from experience (memory shot) 8km on pensa and about 6km on mahan? Im talking about like a nearly straight shot, like a normal one, more reliable with high accuracy then can be counted on instead of having to lead huge... need to know at what KM I can stop leading so much on my shots. thanks a ton I'm having difficult finding the ideal KM range to fire at with the ship arcs. AYe, and for these two ships I usually do 2x. So if it takes 6s to land, I lead it 12 out. But sometimes I have to lead 2.5 times out at max distance. Pensa has the flatest shell arc on literally any USN cruiser in the game.

Could still hit, could hit them if they were turning away with spare range, mitigate damage taken by maneuvering. Tried to keep BB's closer to max range though. No closer than about 12km. I used to play the Pensacola a lot, and I've already really liked the ship since CBT, but I've had to sell it because credit grinds suck and haven't been able to rebuy it yet. Capt. Dorja is obviously not referring to the stock 8"/50 guns. But the 8"/55 firing the non-super heavy shell that carries on until the upgraded Baltimore guns. Same guns on the NOLA, Indianapolis and the stock guns on the Baltimore.
