How are the ARP haruna and Karishma different?

Same as fully upgraded Kongo, just with a different skin and part of a different 'nation'.

They are the same as an elite Kongo. Same credits and such.

 

Just one is black and yellow with a nice mellowed out voice. The other is green and voiced by a hyperactive teddy bear

They are classified as premium ships. They make slightly more credits and experience then normal ships. They do have bonuses that the Kongo doesnt however. The AA is 20% more effective and the secondaries fire faster I believe. The only difference between the Haruna and Kirishima is that they are different colors (Haruna is yellow/gold and Kirishima is Green) and the voices for the captain are different. Other then that the ships are the exact same.

Bear Kirishima hasn't been released here yet. Only EU and SEA/Asia got that one so far.

The earnings are identical with Kongo's, there is no "Premium" perk.

All stats are the same as a C hull kongo, including AA.

Well the ARP Kongos don't have a stock grind dragging down the stats. And in the case of the best Kongo (the goth purple one), players required a bit of skill and a brain to earn her in the first place. No surprise that Best Kongo stands tops the Kongo leaderboard.

On the subject of being undeniably weaker... If one day ARP Yukikaze is a thing, then I bloody hope WG will make an exception and give her an extra -3% detection and a 15 point captain (for CE of course). Otherwise it's going to be an absolutely brutal experience.

I just checked. My ARP Kongo's look the same as the tech tree Kongo except mine are rusting away and the lights have gone dim... 

 

And performance-wise, as far as I can tell my torps sink them as easily as the tech tree Kongo. Wait, that isn't fair. ARP captains do use the WASD hack better so are more difficult to nail to the seabed.
