Starting to get it!

Decided to take a break from cruisers and BBs and start the IJN destroyer line. After rolling on the floor in hysterics from running into everything imaginable as I raced around in a go cart with torpedoes we slowly started to get how these things work! Certainly not a spectacular match but respectable. The BB didn't see me charging him until he got my torp salvo broadside I need alot more work using torps and even more on tactics but the curve is getting better!

I am at the Minekaze now, why not go past it? They didn't all get nurfed into the dirt did they? I know that the tier 10 Shimanurfy got hit bad, but did the other ones too?

I hear that Mitsuki is probably the worst ship in game at the present Minekaze seems better fitted out just looking at her Hatsuharu even better yet gotta be a tough grind to get her!

​I hate to spoil the party, but the hatsuharu isn't exactly a favorite of many people...

I skipped the hulls on the Mutsuki with converted XP after trying it and will most likely skip the Hatsu as well.

 

Just looking at stats, the Fubuki seems to be a decent ship that would suit a play style "similar" to T5 DDs but with the longer reload times.  You just get more torps in the water and from further away.

 

The Mutsuki is an assault on the IJN DD play style after you are shown how fun it is up until T5 then slapped in the face at T6 and 7.

Play style changes considerably. it separates the chaff from the wheat for IJN DD's pilots

Mutsuki sucks - slow torps with a nerf a couple patches ago with spotting torps, means the other person has to be brain dead to actually get hit with a Mutsuki torp.  Its nickname is the Mut-sucki (among others).  Concealment is also pretty bad.  Been plenty of threads on the IJN DD line the last week or so.
