So just got done with a game where I did well and got a few cits in an Arizona against some cruisers and some dude just kept harassing me about "hacking" and actually reported me...ffs when did leading a target and good RNG = OMGHAX!!!

 

Do they actually care about reports, cause I will be pissed if I get any stick for just having a good game from WG.

Assuming he actually reported you and isnt just blustering (which is what 99% of them do) WG will look at the logs and see you did nothing wrong. So nothing to worry about just laugh at the silly people.

Having a good shot against salty people leads to being accused of hacking. Take it as a compliment, what they really mean at heart is "I wish I could place my shots as well as that, well played"

they're almost always just trying to protect their ego. because the only possible way anyone could beat them is by hacking.

and if they actually do report you, you have nothing to worry about as long as you're doing nothing wrong.

WG doesn't ban people just because someone sends in a report saying "OMG he hit me and killed me, must be haxx"

Once in a while a player will rage at me cause I outplayed him. One of my Shokaku matches in a div with Bunny and another player that mains DDs, I faced an AA-specced NC. I gave him a wide berth while I picked on his teammates, and after HE spam blew off his AA and he wasn't in a position to evade, I sent my TB, announced I was taking my revenge against his AA build, and ended him with 4 torps. He was not happy.

Saw a top tier Nagato on the the other team yesterday try to stop me and my division from capping his base by sailing full broadside and in reverse. The only thing he could have done worse was sit still. I don't complain much because its players like that, that make me look great in comparison.

One of my prouder moments was the first time I was accused of hacking.  It ws by one of my own Team!

 

But now that I think of it one positive tweak to the new policy might be if a person is found to have reported someone vindictively or without cause the strike should go against them.

Lol, had this happen to someone a few days ago.

 

Friendly Nagato decided to take his big, invincible battleship into a bunch of islands. Well, the T5 IJN DD ambushed him from an island, and put all his torps into him. Not once did the BB slow down, turn, or even look at him. Next thing you see is a wall of text every 20 seconds of how torpedoes are hacks, how DD's can always get away with hacks, why does it always happen to him, "I'm gonna report you!", etc...

 

Was funny, until the rest of my team opened their mouths and I realized how much RNGesus likes to give me such great teams! They all went off about wall-hacking, smoke is haxorz, "dodging" shells from 12km+ was a hack, cause a DD "shouldn't move that fast". We lost not too long after that.

Kinda what I thought in the beginning, until I had the pleasure of seeing some of them again in the next match. Two of them were playing in T6 Cruisers, both charged towards a recently laid smoke and promptly got obliterated. They cried about how they had been running into smoke-haxors all the time that day, and how they even reported the last guy and were sure gonna report this guy too.

 

I would hope they were simply venting, but you never know in this game.

Since the dumb salty kids that literally grew up with internet in the crib started playing online games. I get hackusations all the time by the poopers. Brush it off like it doesn't matter.....cause it doesn't. lol

About two months ago, I had my Colorado on Estuary and I took a somewhat careless shot that threaded the needle between mountains with a salvo and deleted a full-health cruiser. He accused me of every hack and cheat imaginable. My teammates and I just laughed it off. I admitted that it was a complete fluke that I probably couldn't repeat if I tried. Bottom line is don't worry about it.

I always say thank you after being accused of hacking or using aim bots, and then if they keep on about it  I say.. sorry can't hear you, my chat is turned off..  which seems to confuse them enough to shut up for a while as they think about it.

You should feel honored if someone is accusing you of cheating.  I feel great about it, personally, and take it as a compliment.
