Color pics of USN BB's Tiers III-VI. (Image heavy)

Hi guys! Welcome to my colorized battleship extravaganza! I tried to do this earlier but I had too many pics so I'll do this in four parts. For this one, tiers III-IV as well as some alternates for some tiers. As usual most of the pics here come from: http://blog.livedoor.jp/irootoko_jr/. Let's get this show on the seas!

 

Here we see the sister of USS South Carolina (BB-26), USS Michigan (BB-27). A great port beam shot of her in 1916-17, good quality for a picture from that time.

Here we see an alternate for tier IV USS Delaware (BB-28), during the Naval Review off New York City on October 14, 1912. a good port beam shot of her.

In this pic we see Delaware, with what probably are USS Utah (BB-31) and USS Arkansas (BB-33) in 1913. We see her training her guns to starboard bow possibly doing gunnery practice.

We see here the sister to Delaware, USS North Dakota (BB-29) in 1911. At anchor we see her from her starboard bow.

In this pic we see another alternate to tier IV the Florida-class, and here is her lead ship USS Florida (BB-30), in this stern quarter shot, training her guns to direct starboard.

This is USS Utah (BB-31) during WWI. If the name sounds familiar, that's because she was sunk at Pearl Harbor. She was converted into a target and AA training ship.

Here is the memorial to the Utah, and her wreck. 64 officers and men were killed aboard her and still are on active duty.

The USS Wyoming (BB-32) sailing under the Manhattan Bridge, New York City, 1912; taken from the Brooklyn Bridge. A good view of her aft guns.

Here is the Arkansas Beta-*cough* sorry, USS Arkansas (BB-33), underway sometime between 1912-15. You can see her crew manning the railings for her send off.

 

And there is part one, tiers V-VI and VII-IX will be coming as soon as I finish them so keep an eye out over the coming couple hours. Fair winds and following seas captains!
