The smoke screen you put down saved my Kongo, which was trying to escape from an incoming  Colorado, Nagato and New York.

 

This is the first time I can recall that I've seen a  DD lay smoke to protect a battleship.

Congrats on the Destroyer for laying down that smoke, that is truly good teamwork, and I'm happy to see it still happening today.

Not only was it a wonderful gesture.....

It was also one of self preservation.

... Cruisers kill Destroyers

... Battleships kill Cruisers.

So saving the battleship will help keep him alive longer.
