IJN Tone being reworked now

As China server updated to 0.5.9 yesterday, the Chinese players who own Tone found the ship missing from client. The Chinese company wrote to these players saying that WG is reworking on Tone now so it's pulled off from the client and WG has promised them that once the re-working is done the ship will be given back to these players, in the mean time these players will be given a Bismarck as compensation. And the Chinese company is also planning a new Tone sale when it comes back.

 

Maybe this time Tone will be available for all servers?

Not sure why the Tone is being so difficult to work tbh. It's not really as unconventional as WG seems to be making it out to be, yes it carries a couple more floatplanes and has slightly more extensive aircraft handling facilities but it's still nowhere near being a hybrid like the Mogami or Ise.

 

Just give it both a fighter and spotter plane, maybe with a reduced cooldown on the planes and that's all that's needed imo.

Seems likely to me that they're trying to give it a bit more flair than that, and use it as a testbed for ships like a full Hybrid Mogami or Oyodo type ship.

Hopefully this means they've worked out a way to give players a greater degree of control over all those floatplanes.

 

If successful, that should bode well for other hybrids like the BBV Ise or the Mogami's aviation refit.

How do they control Tone's floatplanes? Can we tell them where to scout or they work like a single squadron of CV aircraft?

 

For modified Mogami or Ise I think we need full CV control along with regular controls of the other armaments.

You could also buy Scharnhorst if you wanted a few weeks back, even though the ship hadn't finished testing. China does what it wants.

For a while they even sold the USS Missouri but the main WG office said that was a bridge too far and made them stop haha.

It's amazing. Best show since Code Geass IMO. I've been in love with it- and I know spoilers up to Afc 6 (we are on Arc 3), and because of that I NEED 2-3 more seasons.

 

I can't remember where it originated. I know it's from a different anime. I far far prefer my old avatar, but after a good 3 months of the old one, and it's graininess, I decided to use this one for a while. If you want, there is a Re_Zero subreddit. It's not rude like the regular Reddit, and has a lot of good people. Plus, tagged spoilers, bonus content, and more. I go by Nukemind over there.

There we go, thank you! IIRC that show had a girl with an eyepatch? I know a lot due- heck Megumin uses magic and she was called a Chuunibyou. And she wore an eyepatch.
