Need a little help deciding my next model to build

I just finished up my 1:535 scale Revell USS Missouri (never ever building or buying another one of these models holy balls) and would now like to build something else, however I can't figure out what to build first lol

 

I have as follows

 

A 1:48 scale C-47 Skytrain

 

A 1:35 scale M2 Bradley

 

A 1:48 scale F-36F-30 Sabre fighter jet

 

A 1:48 scale A-10 Warthog

 

A 1:48 scale P-38J Lightning

 

A 1:700 scale USS Essex CV

 

And a 1:72 scale F-82G Twin Mustang

 

So yeah, what do you guys think? Any thoughts on what I should build next? Photos will follow as soon as I can find a working camera lol

Warthog. Built one of those years ago and the enormous amount of under wing armament the kit came with was a lot of fun to add to the model. 

 

Can't really disagree with the P-38 comments above though. One of my favorite WW2 allied planes. Built a standard and a night fighter variant myself.

I've built that one myself...and it came out terribly. Didn't help that it was my first model.

Don't feel too bad, that particular model was probably the worst quality model I have ever seen. I was actually really starting to hate the thing trying to put it together... 

 

So far, thats 3 for the P-38, one for the Essex, and one for the Warthog. Maybe I should make a poll for this to keep track?

I'd say go with the Essex or the Bradly  Would be leaning more towards the Bradly if it comes with the missiles or any small solders.

I don't think it has the missiles, but I do have a huge stock of resin soldiers and kit I can put on it

I vote for the P-38J. Nice looking aircraft. I made one when I was younger and it looked cool hanging from my ceiling, looking as if it was going for a strafing run on my dresser. Yep, the good old days.

Needs more WWI aviation...  But I'd vote for the A-10, that plane and the F-14 will always be on the top of my lists.

Honestly, I'd like to see the F-82G Twin Mustang.  Have not seen much of those and an interesting design.

Heheh, I made that model when I was like 10, didn't think the quality was that bad back then, but then again I was 10.

 

I'd vote for the A-10 though, you can't have enough BRRRRRRRRT.

Essex!  Purely for my own selfish agenda...

 

As that will likely be my next model as well, it would be nice to have someone I know who's already built it.  That way I can pester you for tips based on your experience with it.

Well, I started working on the P-38, got the cockpit all painted up and installed, next I'll start prepping and putting together the front landing gear, hopefully all goes well with that, as I've had some issues in the past with landing gears lol

 

I think the next model I do will be the Essex....never done a CV before so it'll be interesting for sure.
