If you click on the Artillery tab on the ship in port and hover over the secondary batteries, it tells you if they use AP or HE Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Kongo has two sizes I think; the smaller ones fire HE, (127mm or less?) and the bigger ones fire AP, (t52mm and up?) Mostly the only ship that do that are the IJN BBs, and Maybe Warspite.
