This is the Royal Navy Battleship lineup I'm expecting once Sweden, Bolivia, Luxembourg and Peru have there full lineup of coastal and river boats in place:

HMS Triumph (I)

HMS St. Vincent (II)

HMS Hercules (III)

HMS New Zealand (IV)
HMS Erebus (V)

HMS Furious (VI)

HMS Canada (VII)

HMS Roberts (VIII)

HMS Warspite (IX, modified with waterline set 1 foot off the deck, and rear guns switched out for a single 20" with 10% arc, 45% movement radius)

N3 Class likely Tier 10 (18" guns) with buff to speed and armor (so it ain't like a New York with 18" guns.. lol

What about Nelson-Class? Edit: Premium? ;o

Good suggestions tho.

His lineup is missing some really important BBs that are likely to be in the line. Also placed in some weird [edited]spots. Warspite at T9, she's my favourite ship in the game but I'd no sooner take her against  an iowa than take a sledgehammer to the balls.

I am sure he is joking.

I just want the HMS Vanguard as a tier 8 premium.

I hear the Erie is going to be promoted to Tier 10 Premium for USN Cruisers.

It fires Yamato shells, don't worry it's only $400.

HMS Agincourt would be the premium. 14 x 12", that's seven turrets, two guns each.

Nelson would be a Tier 7-8 Premium whilst Agincourst would be Tier 5-6 Premium.

Yes, I'm joking, this would be the misfit line-up. Love HMS Furious with two 20" guns :-)

Just sad that the RN is not available yet and nothing on the horizon.

I say tier 9 with a massive citadel buff (every other shell is a critical hit), along with it's old look, it would surprise the dickens out of the other players in the tier. Just musing :-)

On first blush, HMS Nelson would likely be a VII, no more. It has great firepower, but it's super slow and would have wide turning arcs, not nimble enough to go beyond that mark methinks

Was kinda weird....

Yes, a little bit. This post is a veiled jab at the ponderously slow development of the Royal Navy lineup. I'm thinking no excuse other than "It's not important to us right now" fits best.

Tier 3 should be Dreadnought, she started the arms race in the 1900s

The most often repeated story is that WG had a hard time getting the RN blueprints because they they upset the British archives somehow, or they ran into slow, obstinate British bureaucracy. Of course that apparently didn't stop WG getting what they needed for Warspite, so raised eyebrow and hmmm...

Personally I think they just made a flawed development decision to work on the Russian ships first to cater to their main market. As I understand it, it's backfired on them since even the Russian playerbase are getting impatient at the lack of Royal Navy ships. WG have even admitted it was a mistake. That's imho the real reason for the whole fiasco.

Indeed, I am an avid BB enthusiast, love making 1-700 WWII ships, plus I'm a 20 year journalist. So for a lark I looked for actual plans for a random RN capital ship, within an hour I found the near complete plans for HMS Nelson from a reputable source, it just required contacting someone directly and paying for the material (which I stopped at that point). Not sure how the WG crew ticked off The Royal Navy, but I would never start from that source as it's usually the most fickle, I would work from the outside in. I bet if WG were to send out a request for material from it's players it would get a good response also. I have a few out of print detailed RN reference books that could aid in armor construction on certain ships, gun specifications singular to it's placement and use, some data on trials and general performance, etc. They don't need to be shy about what they are looking for, they might find some great source material.

This is a pretty trollish list

Tier 3 should be Dreadnought, tier 6 is Queen Elizabeth or possibly Admiral class, and tier 7 must be Nelson because Tier 7 is home of the Big 7.

I see Nelson as the T7 on the tree with KGV as T8.

As far as premiums go I can see Vanguard at T8, Hood at 6/7,and POW at 8(7?). The hard part with the UK ships is that they just kept using the same bloody 15 inch guns.

LOL, HMS Furious had no main guns!  Just a bunch of flight decks!  Unless your talking about the 18" guns that were mounted on it that destroyed the ship whenever they fired!  That'd be a fun match, lose HP everytime you fire the guns and pray to RNGesus that your 2 guns hit something.

Other than speed (barely), Nelson was a better performing ship than the KGV. The KGV main guns were a mess, they had a series of mechanical failures in combat, bad ones. The only big gun fail for the Nelson class was Rodney's zero elevation fire that knocked the turret out of whack, but it was quickly fixed. Nelson Tier 8, KGV T7
